A cookie is a small software file stored temporarily or placed on your electonic device's hard drive. The main purpose of a cookie is to allow a web server to identify a user’s computer and web browser and tailor web pages and/or login information to a user’s preferences.
Some of my apps may use non-personalized ads that are not based on a user's behavior. They are used for frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, and to combat fraud and abuse. Within these apps you have to consent to these ads and you can withdraw your consent at any time within the apps.
On my website I gather some information automatically and store it in server log files. This information includes hashed internet Protocol (IP) addresses in memory only for up to 24 hours. Hashed means that it is not your complete IP address that is stored and it can not be used to identify your individual internet connection or physical address, meaning it is non-personal information. I use this information to administer the website.
